However, I also have an identical Tivo Bolt in the other room -- which works perfectly when I move it over. So it is absolutely and confirmed to be a TIVO software problem on some of the Bolts and other boxes --but Tivo is not taking responsibility for it. Annoying. Really needs to be fixed.

Usually it seems to happen if I go up and down through the channels. It seems to be when I try to go past 19-1. Then it will not go to the next channel which is 15-1.Same issue here. A tech has just tried to change the splitter and the cables in my house but signal is strong (every channel I test for strength has 94 or 95). The Xfinity people on the phone have send "hits" to the TiVo box but that does not change anything. Our internet still works and we can view Netflix, Hulu, etc over the TiVo Bolt just fine.
