I just mimicked VDY this past week by buying the individual stocks to save on the fees. Since I can't buy fractional shares, I stuck with the top 90% of the holdings, of which I had already held about 40% of them. My weighting is "ahead" for the stocks I already held, so I'm going to gradually play catch-up with the rest for next little while.
