Mar 16, 2021 · DA 55 -135 one of the sharpest pentax da lenses , absolutely one of the best in sharpness , color ,aberrations , bokeh .IT'S A BRILLIANT LENS. DA 55 1.4 it can't be 9.8 IN SHARPNESS , absolutely wrong . this is not a sharp lens , PF one of the worst in modern pentax lenses , sharpness not even at f8 . It's weakness shows wide open at 200mm where it's slightly soft and smeary with CA, but that could be said of nearly all consumer zooms. However stop it down a bit, or zoom out a bit, and it sharpens up really nicely. Clarity, colour and contrast are also perfectly decent. Handling is fine.It also has many other fully automatic modes. In manual mode it has spot metering. Actually, it has many functions of more advanced (and heavier) cameras. Although it is heavier than many film cameras, it weighs less (500g) than my K-S2 DSLR (850g), which is a fairly small DSLR.Description: The Pentax LX was introduced in 1980 as a system camera for the professional photographer.
