Setup is viable. Loving+necrotic necrolord is good for low cata f6 mage, while juju paired with that gear is bad , so dont use juju. sceptre is good for clearing low health mob, midas staff is for miniboss ( but it blocks arrows so your archer might be mad at you ), so just get both. or just stay archer.

I would recommended Sheep pet more than the Guardian pet as it lets you use less mana per item ability like leaping swords “leap” ability. It also grants 100 more intelligence at lvl 100 making you have more magic damage. For Mage/Berserker, Adaptive Helm is also incredibly useful as it is only about 3-5m, and make you actually be able to take a few hits as a mage/berserker.
