Jul 31, 2023 · June Lake Loop consists of four lakes including June, Gull, Silver and Grant. It's a beautiful small town about 20 minutes past Mammoth. We typically stay at the June Lake Motel right in the heart of the town. It's a great location for our family since we typically book out 4-5 rooms and they are always able to get us right by each other.

This season I visited June 4 times versus 1 time for Mammoth. Unlike the "other" resort, this place is very chill and welcoming. It's almost like a mom-and-pop run resort. I went before New Years and during President's day and never waited in any lift lines.
