WARNING: Dasher Support Phone Scam. I just got a phone call after accepting a delivery from "dasher support" (unrecognized number). The representative informed me that a lot of Dashers in my area have been using family members to place orders for them so they can improve their [Dasher] ratings, and that they would need to verify my account.

Dashers get fucking livid at restaurants asking to see names or to show that they're marking the order as picked up, and then blame the restaurants for being inconsiderate ...
Also, if the scammer tells you the customer name, the restaurant, the order details, and/or your name, it is because the customer sees all this info and the person trying to scam you is the customer for that order. If DD ever calls you, feel free to say you will call support back immediately and call them yourself. This scam is well known on this forum.
