There is NO other way to "dismantle" the gate parts. If you want to "destroy" the gate, you need 12 Grenades, or 4 Plastic Explosives. You need just 2 plastic explosives to destroy a gate/fence. So, for a 12' gate, make the opening 12'. The gate is slightly less than 12' and allows for the hinges and pins.
