I, on average, spend less than $20 a day on a cruise (not including the $12 service charge). Others spend hundreds. It all depends on each person and what you plan to do while on board.

Some are first come/first served. 3) You can reserve MDR's, but walking up usually doesn't include a long wait. Maybe 20-minutes or so max. Again, depends on time of day and number of passengers.

Thanx all for the extensive explanations. Too bad that NCL doesnt really have intermediate-premium cabins which grant you access to restricted areas like the courtyard & Epic Club. Last cruise was a Celebrity X cruise in Aquaspa Stateroom, loved the extra perks & entrance to a restricted restaurant.

Be aware that the Epic Courtyard (pool area) is far from quite with 2 big vents and some kind of motors in them running constantly. Plus you are in a prison yard like pit with walls going up 2 or 3 decks.
As for the "freestyle" sun deck, I don't believe total nudity is allowed. Topless maybe, but not nude. Of course, it's very possible that the rules, and the shows, are different on Epic's European cruise routes (as opposed to U.S./Caribbean routes) since attitudes about these things are much more relaxed in most of Europe.

I logged into NCL a week or so ago to plan out the excursions. Each port had a a good amount listed. When I checked today, one of the ports (Athens) has 0 listed.
