Oct 13, 2014 · Possible someone shimmed the valve and lost parts-- COMMON. Pull the "U" hose from the fuel rail-- plug the hose. Connect a hose to the nipple on the fuel rail. Crank the engine--- any fuel coming out of the fuel rail nipple -- the FPRV is leaking fuel-- IT WILL NEVER START. It also won't start. This can happen if the battery is low / dead. To solve, connect a set of jumper cables between the battery in the Cobalt and a running car's battery. Shut off the running car.
