Last edited by …I believe you can get these without recombinators by picking up a temple base with T1 life and then using T4 aisling to add a prefix (either by getting lucky or locking prefixes so it doesnt eat one of the good ones). You would then have to unveil the cold convert mod (assuming the temple mod doesnt block it - not sure here). Probably you get Research and Fortification set up, and then repeatedly spam Transportation and Intervention Safehouses until Mastermind is unlocked. Intervention Safehouse gives Scarabs so you probably want to do that one as frequently as possible, while saving T4 Aisling Research and T4 Hillock Fortification for the Mastermind lair.
