The choke selector/kill stitch wasn't working right, so I took the kill switch contact/spring out and bent it out a little bit to put more pressure on the selector. It worked a little, but I needed more pressure. I tried to bend it a little more, and it broke.My chainsaw, a Stihl 028 WB, would start but not run. After researching the cause, it appeared that replacing the points and condenser with an ignition chip would fix it. Ordered the chip from Lil' Red Barn, watched their "how-to" video, installed the chip and the saw started up right away and ran great. The chip kit was shipped quickly.
