Maybe try a pink line test like an FRER. At least they are a lot less likely to give you an evaporation line and are very sensitive, more so than boots ones. Try again with fmu. I'm afraid it could be a yes or no at the moment, but a faint line an hour after testing doesn't help you either way.

The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago with a blue dye test. First test had a very faint line, came back 15 mins later and the line had gotten darker.
