POF makes innovative stuff that looks very cool. My experience has found that POF quality is sometimes lacking and they don't really stand behind their products. I'd definitely go with the Ruger. I like my P415 but I've had to put a bit of time and money into it to correct some issues. Accuracy is on par with any run of the mill AR. 1. Droopy1592.
I'm amazed that making it in a small frame patter has such a big impact on the weight. I'm curious if the barrel in this is machined using the same process as the Ruger American line up. I have a Ruger American Hunter whose barrel shoots sub-MOA, even after it gets pretty warm. Having a barrel like that in an AR-10 would be pretty awesome.The SIG TREAD logo. The Aero and Sig have a 16-16.5in barrel and the SFAR have two options the 16in or the 20in barrel.
Sig 716i - maybe best value for money. Same weight as DD5. No gas block but can maybe use Sigs low tox suppressor and run well. Seems to eat everything. But, If I’m looking at this, I feel i might as well add a few hundred and get the DD5. SW MP10 - half pound lighter than above, great price. Would likely want to replace handguard/stock/trigger.

Addressing the accuracy, the barrel is tuned for M118LR or Sierra MatchKing. Shooting anything else is just for plinking. That round hit a man sized target consistently at 950yds from the MCX. Listen to this man seriously..... The only reason to choose the Ruger SFAR over a SIG 716I is to save weight. If you don't mind the weight get the 716I!
