0 Thread (s) This summer I installed an aftermarket electronic oil injection system on one of my customers motors. It was a 1990 Merc 135 V-6 that was about to have an oil drive gear failure. We ditched the metal drive gear and installed the EOI-C system. It uses the same oil pump and warning system, but uses an electric motor to run the pump.

Disconnect the Oil Mixing Y from the Fuel Pump and the Fuel Feed line. Plug the Fuel Feed line directly to the Fuel Pump. Disconnect the Stainless Linkage from the Throttle Shaft. Remove the two 5/16" headed screws from the Oil Pump. The screw pictured is difficult to remove. The O-ring on the Oil Pump can be reused if it is in good shape. Yep, aftermarket air filters requires rejetting the carbs (Oside Bill recipe in the How-to's). I run about 45:1 although I will be putting oil injection back on during upcoming carb rebuild.
