I will be doing STRICTLY hobby work with it. I also looked at the Hobart 210mvp which seems to be a good machine. I am looking for a small machine to be able to do thinner materials that are hard to do with stick. I already have a Lincoln ln 25 but it is to big to hoof around to weld a flange or small part. I am looking for a machine to do steel smaller then 3/16s but I want to have the duty cycle to be able to do it continuously every now and then.

The Esab migmaster 215 pro is as smooth as any easb mig welder. Welds like a 3 phase machine. Very smooth.
