I don't think it's a misfire because i've never seen the CEL come on, and I've heard a misfire feels pretty rough. It feels like for a split second the engine power doesn't make it to the tires, like if you were pedaling hard and your bike chain skipped a link, or like the clutch slips and catches again. Seems to happen more with the A/C on.

The side marker must come off. screw on top access through hood, screw in front between side mrkr and turn signal housing (mine are philips but they may be torx). You will need a thin driver to get to it. Then there are two (maybe 3) screws visible from above holding the turn sig housing in place.If your 4WD fails to engage, then it is most likely a faulty 4WD actuator, especially if the 4×4 light is blinking but not engaging. Regularly inspect your electronic switches and solenoids, and examine wires for corrosion. It is good to engage the 4WD system monthly to maintain proper lubrication.
