My only advice around the broker is to pick one that has a 24 hour trade desk with margins and commissions you can tolerate, but only if you’re using them for trades, not just data. I’ve only used Tradovate, CQG, Rithmic and Denali (Sierrachart proprietary data feed) data feeds, and I’d rank them Denali > Rithmic > CQG > Tradovate in terms of reliability.

but not every broker makes you whole again if you can prove that you indeed were not able to get out when you wanted or that your stops were not triggered because of the outage. I dont know how tradovate is handling this but i know other brokers who refund your lost money during the outage.
