an earlier 69-70 block as a rule of thumb can handle more then the rest of the 70s, and those can handle more then the roller blocks. now with that said it all comes down to how well it is built and most importantly how well its tuned. a bad tuned 351 can split at a few hundred HP, i have seen 69-70 blocks put down a little over 700 to the wheels.

So you have 300 HP now and put 12 psi on it you would use the formula (12/17psi)300+300= total FLYWHEEL HP which is just above 500HP. To get 600 FWHP from a 300 HP engine you would need the indicated 17psi. I wouldn't never push past 400 on the stock trans, and wouldn't launch it at those power levels. The stock engine can easily handle anything the stock turbo can do. You won't run into engine problems sub 500 whp. The 330 uses a lot of forged internals so it's pretty stout. Your biggest limitation with stock pistons and any kind of FI is going to be due to the compression ratio, which will limit the amount of boost you can add without major detonation issues.
