Local newspaper Eugene Weekly has stopped printing, with managers announcing Thursday they had laid off the publications's 10-member staff in the wake of an alleged embezzlement scheme.Our Mission: Support economic stability for Oregonians and communities during times of unemployment through the payment of unemployment benefits.CGPD referred the case to the Lane County Sheriff’s Department. At 2:30 pm Feb. 7, Lane County deputies arrested Clarke, 58, on charges of solicitation of murder. He was later also charged with attempted murder and is being held without bail at the Lane County Jail.
