yes, the nagakiba has more reach and, but i am conflicted, i really don't like the stabbity stab of the nagakiba's (charged) R2 when 2-handing, i much prefer the 2H overhead slash of the uchi, so much so that i think about going back, even if i miss out on that huge reach. but that's just my preference. oh, i also don't PvP, so there's that.
