I simply disconnected the aux battery around 2022 and should have done it when I got the car new in 2018. Can't stand ESS. I have to live with the "circle A" warning light but worth it to me. Ditto in agreement. And, in retrospect, it was a Chrysler salesman who said that some models can turn the ESS default to OFF by fiddling with the settings.
