10 posts · Joined 2010. #1 · Aug 3, 2011. Just hit the 20 hour mark on my Freedom Z and got the "Change Oil" display on the hour meter. I changed the oil and filter myself and was wondering how to reset the display on the hour meter. I searched the manual and it does not seem to appear anywhere.

When talking to my dealer he said that Kawasaki or Hustler is now recommending 20w50 now instead of the regular 10w30 or sae30 recommended previously. He said that by changing to 20w50 the oil consumption issue would be resolved.
