Mar 30, 2024 · The best solution would be if you could make a phone's NFC reader/writer itself spoof an amiibo. No tags required. I believe someone had already achieved that sometime in the past, but then decided not to release it so everyone probably hated them for a week or something, I dunno.

You can backup amiibos, took me like 30-50 mins to make an app for android (specifically my galaxy note 2) to backup a friend's amiibos, select which backed up amiibo to load, and clone it at will on any topaz 512 nfc tag. no, its not piracy, the main issue of the amiibos as you said yourself is the figure itself, but regarding the games they work with, spoofing is exactly the same as using a cheat code in the games. no more no less. you could compare it with unlocking pokemon in the games without waiting for the event/giveaway for example.
