From book 3 onwards it all gets way full of philosophy and things thst just blow your brain trying to understand them. Book 5 and 6 while decent are just wierd. Book 1 to 3 is peak dune imo.

The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. I had a very unique experience while reading this book. It is not only a novel, but a way of life!! The writing is so beautiful! It is so poetic or leaves an agreeable mark on the soul! I love many many books from fantasy to sci-fi to non- fiction.

The Book of Air and Shadows and the Forgery of Venus by Michael Gruber. For mysteries P.D. James wrote good, well written mysteries with a serious literary feel. I think Dorothy Sayers Peter Wimsey mysteries are well written. Elizabeth George and Deborah Crombie also do well-written mysteries.
