The shader cache may not be compatible with your version of the game, i recommend uninstalling all updates to the game and if that doesn't work i can give you my shader cache (i had the same problem but figured it out) Your shader cache might be outdated.

I tried this mod, if you are running around and press the menu button, mario will keep walking 1 frame ahead. Also entering battle or exiting buildings will make the game pause for like a second.

The game freezes at the very first cutscene.You need much power from the CPU with Yuzu and less from the GPU. Use the default settings, all the vulkan hacks except "force max clocks", it will kill your FPS. Also disable barrier feedback loop.
