I have an update to my post on the engine oil check procedure in the XC40. I spoke with a Volvo Service Associate (second time) at my local dealer. He advised me to let the car's oil level sensors do the work of alerting me when the engine oil level is low. I don't have any experience with the Drive-E engine. The XC40 Recharge (Pure Electric) 2024 has a new driveline with estimated WLTP at 570 kilometers. New engines, standard rear wheel drive and a front engine (if AWD version) that blends in if needed.
