Two 39A's pre-safety models Three 1870-1970 Century Limited's One 39M One 1897 Cowboy One 1897T One 39 TDS On this recent 39A I plan on installing a vintage all steel receiver sight, probably a Redfield #75 and base, or a Lyman.

The K prefix will date it to 1953, which mans it was the last full year for Ballard rifling. Some 54's have it, but not many. The 24" barrel means it is a rifle, and it's pistol gripped stock. The serial number is C 103XX, (it was suggested that I not give the entire serial number), and the C could be lower case. Devperry; You are not back at the drawing board. This Marlin Model '93 is a 1920's,maybe 1930's gun. It is not possible for a Model 1893 or '93 to have been made in 1884! The Model 1893 did not come out until 1893. The fact that your gun's serial number is under the lever puts the time after 1921.
