I use it with L'oreal Oreor creme 30 vol developer. Only applied it in all of my hair the first time, then I just use it for my roots. For the rest of my hair I use semipermanent color ( ION, MAnic Panic) which makes it healthy and shiny ( if you keep applying de hicolor highlights your hair will get progressively lighter).Just wanted to say that the Wildfire is WAY more orange than red. If you want to use manic panic, I'd suggest Vampire Red. Also, yes it`s best to keep it in for 3+ hours. I personally left it in for around 12 hours, but that's just me. It's also best applied to dry, shampoo'd, but not conditioned hair. Always use cool water, cut down on shampoo.
