I lacked the ability to test bursts on BLM solo, but on SCH I have noticed that magic bursts are doing insane damage. I tested on knotted roots (which resist earth damage iirc) just magic bursting stone and stone III. Stones initial damage was high 600s, MB was doing around 2200. Stone III did about 1600, MB was doing 5500. Chant Du Cygne > Sinker Drill = Dark > Spectral Floe/Tenebral Crush. Spectral floe will probably be the best damage. I think Tenebral comes close with Pixie Hairpin plus has some utility with def down.
