Removing the cutoff wire doesn’t change anything. New plug, new plug cap, wire, ignition coil, tried different CDI, still no change.Many people in the points and miles space tout United Polaris as one of the best a U.S. airline offers. Does it live up to the hype? We may be compensated when you click on product...I had no spark at first so after some testing I replaced the stator and then had spark for a little bit. I also had a cracked spark plug cap so just put a new coil and cap on. After doing some tests on the stator when I do an unloaded cranking test I get. yellow/red to black 6.2V. white to black 7.6V.Start with a new spark plug, replace fuel, test your spark plug cap wire and coil. then you would need to test your stator and voltage regulator. I know it's harder to get to on the 570, but with my machine it's less than 5 minutes to get it up and running if it's the plug.

After replacing the whole ignition system (ignition coil, stator with pickup coil, plug, wire, CDI, voltage regulator, solenoid) I still have no spark. I checked the ETC and it's working fine. I purchased an aftermarket cdi and coil sincethe motor only came with the harnes coming out of the engine. I have tried several trouble shooting techniques but can't seem to get spark. Lube all the threads on the bolts and the puller. Tighten down on it. If it doesnt come right off u may have to heat the flywheel around the center, make sure the puller is good and tight and hit the puller (the part u turn to pull the part) with a hammer a few good times. 2000 Xplorer 400 4x4. .040 over, head shaved .020.Make sure you have a good ground at the coil.
