I bought the QC Earbud 1's in Oct 2022 and this behavior still exists. Not sure if QC Earbuds 2 do this or not those r too expensive for me lol. But the v1's definitely still are master/slave and the left will disconnect if you close the case even though the bose manual says to keep the case closed to avoid it building up with dirt n stuff.
