While tilling, turning rpm 1500, not working the tractor hard, the pto kicked out with a click sound. There is adjustments for the three release fingers and three for the pto clutch disk. You will need a good tractor mechanic or service manual to properly adjust the clutch though. the adjustment could either be in the pedal height/freeplay or in the clutch itself.
