Think or swim is garbage for futures. Use a real broker and a real platform especially if you're scalping or intraday trading. You need to be able to see the whole order book. I personally like jigsaw, sierra chart and optimus flow. There's a lot of quality brokers with a wide arrange of platforms like edgeclear, optimus futures, iron beam etc.

With small account I recommend CFD ( fxcm is good ) , example NAS100 ( = NQ ) margin is ca 80 $ and risk per tick is reasonable. If you want to trade MNQ with 100$ good luck, you will be needing it a lot. Yes broker may allow 100 $ per MNQ but you need refund you account after 2-3 stopouts. 1.

Ninja trader bought Tradovate last year and seems to be in the process of integrating the two platforms. Since the buyout Tradovate has had an increase in crashes, glitches, and a general feeling of instability to me (like screen blinking). The latest big crash was right when JPow started testifying a couple weeks ago. Tradovate here, very good for order execution, but I don’t like their charts. And ffs I wish they’d make the cursor crosshairs disappear when the cursor leaves the chart. But I also have a hundred bucks in a TDA account so I can use ToS for charting, plus I can use their free version of Bookmap for a better DOM for ES and MES.Functions of Tradovate are mere fractions of NinjaTrader.
