I regularly clean and lube it after each use. This morning I attempted to remove the slide and the take-down lever seemed to have no resistance like it usually does.

Inspection shows the decocker is in the down position which blocks the firing pin from the hammer. It's as if the spring holding the decocker in battery is to weak and the decocker is pivoting from slide recoil.

Bottom line is they're OK guns. While the design is outdated and less practical than modern competitors, they're reliable, affordable, and perfectly capable of serving as defensive pistols.
