I have a door open indicator on the dash that is on. I can not close the door electrically or manually. When I pull the handle, the cable does not release the mechanism at the rear post. I have several hours into the project, and now, looking for some additional knowledge. So weird, I just cleaned the battery posts, and now the door will not close.

It will close almost all the way and then it stops and reopens, but if you push on the door slightly while it's closing it will close all the way.
