The 4.5 XDm slide/frame will also swap in these calibers. Not sure about 4.5 to 3.8 (some one else has to check that). All the XD frames in these calibers are identical. The XDm frames in 4.5 are identical in 9mm and 40SW. XD and XDm are not interchangeable. XD45 compact and XD45 full grip frames are interchangeable to either a 4 or 5" slide.

I have to have my hands in just the right position to be successful.
