1. Remove midgate (pop off two hinge covers inside truck, remove 4 hinge bolts anchored to midgate and remove midgate). 2. Determine best box size for your subs. Box size makes ALL the difference! I have two 10? JL Audio 10W4?s. I went to the JL website and downloaded their specs for my subs, which included recommended box sizes.
I have 2 -12" Kenwood subs in the bed of my avy. They are in seperate ported boxes. They are 1200 watt subs and sound great out of the truck.
