This is more utilitarian, but: If you intend to take a portrait shot instead of landscape (like if you just want a screen of your character by themself), set the gpose camera off 90 degrees sideways and zoom/FoV in as far as possible while keeping your character completely in-frame.You might be able to take a screenshot or two, but it will eventually change itself to read only and you'll never be able to change it back. You can go into the folder properties, turn off read only, and it will instantly set itself to read only again. I've had this problem for well over a year. I gave up trying to take screenshots in FFXIV.It seems that the issue is caused by Antivirus software. Avast, and possibly other Antivirus tools seem to block XIV from saving screenshots. Why it suddenly does this, I don' know.
