So basically if a weapon has innate bleed, occult is better for increasing your overall damage. If you wanted to use a none bleed weapon then you would choose a blood infusion to allow arcane scaling on that weapon. okay thanks bleed and its scaling is kinda confusing but yeah occult is superior. #5. The whip has natural bleed, if you use Keen or Lightning affinity the bleed will not scale. so for Keen or Lightning go pure dex. Giving it the bleed affinity will slightly lower the dex scaling but allow the bleed buildup to scale with arcane.
