Re: GRIP EXTENSIONS FOR PT145. If you just have to have a grip extension, you might look at the Springfield XD9 compact. They do have a grip extension option for the magazine. I fired one the other day and it was nice. I prefer my PT145, but options are good. I don't want it for carry, just fun, so full frame is fine with me. My PT145 was deemed non-repairable. They are not currently making or shipping .45s until the first of the year.
