Greetings from wet Wales! I have got a 2003 Ranger 500 petrol, I have replaced the stator, coil, CDI unit, HT lead and spark plug, but still no spark, can anyone suggest anything to help? I have the same issue. Did you find any solutions? It started with it randomly starting and dying. I would give it a little gas and it would start back up most times. But some times I would have to let it sit for a few minutes and then it would start.

Remove one of the coils, from the spark plug. Use an extra spark plug. A spark plug tester. Or even a screwdriver, in the end of the coil. Ground it on a piece of metal on the engine. The ignition coil pack might cause no spark issue with your Polaris Sportsman 500, as it gets the voltage to create a spark. So testing your coil pack is very important. May 16, 2015 · Here is the information and what I have tried: - NO SPARK -. - Gauges and all other electrical items (lights, etc.) work. - The crank position sensor has been checked at swapped. Both test at 1017 ohms. (proper number is 1000 ohms +/- 10%) - The coil measures at 2.2 ohms on each part of the primary side (1-2 and 2-3). Book says 0.4 ohms.
