The bike came with a FMF 4.1 pipe, and wasn't tuned ran good for some time than it wouldn't start (lean). I got it tuned and the light kept reoccuring afterward, usually kicking in at about 45 minutes. That problem fazed away and the bike was good until 2009. It went from Orlando, FL to Texas, and ran fine with no problems until it rolled over.

The needle seat has a small screen and it was plugged only letting a small amout of fuel into the bowl. Most of the jets were clear but I still used music wire and air to clear any blockages.

2008 KFX 450R problems. How are you to check the oil level. The book that I got tells me to stand it on it's back bumper and check the oil level in the sight glass.
