I had a similar thing happened to me and I finally figured out it was my phone cable that was shorting out and causing the radio, nav etc to shut off. Unplug cable and try, it worked for me. Jun 26, 2010 · I have a 1999 Ford F150 The radio was working just fine. However, I can not get it to work now. I checked the fuse (both of them) #1 is a 15amp fuse, #8 is a 5amp fuse.
