What is weird is how some trucks can go 250-300k miles with it and not have a problem but there are brand new 2019/2020 trucks destroying lifters at 1,500 miles. Nov 3, 2023 · I own an 8 speed, 2019 LTZ Z71. I took mine in today, december 4th 2023 with the exact same issues. They replced the fluid and this corrected the issue immediately. I assumed to needed a new torque converter or transmission. NOPE. that is for a 6 speed. the 8 speeds need a fluid change and drive like new. Hope this helps.
